Mitochondrion Model

A model clearly representing the "Mighty Mito" powerhouse organelle of the cell. Two wall cell membranes, cristae, subunits (elementary particles), matrix, and granules are revealed while the mitochondrion, normally 3 microns in length, is enlarged 190,000 times. On the base of the model, in molded relief, is a 1,000,000X cross section through the membrane and subunits, and a simplified schematic of the citric acid cycle (Krebs cycle). Key cards included.
