Karyotyping Kit

This intriguing simulation illustrates how karyotypes relate to certain genetic diseases. A normal male, Kleinfelter's Syndrome, and Turner's Syndrome can be classified with this kit sorting chromosomes from cells that have been frozen at the metaphase state. Students cut out chromosomes and use karyotype trays to facilitate sorting.
