K-B Conversion Heavy to Medium Duty

K-B® Conversion Weight Convert a heavy K-B Corer to a medium K-B Corer, simply by exchanging the head assembly bases. The medium K-B head assembly base weighs 3.6 kg (8 lbs), and is 152 mm (6") in diameter by 152 mm (6") in length. This conversion base will decrease the weight of the heavy K-B corer by 22 lbs. Useful in soft sediments when the heavy K-B corer is not necessary.
