Hester-Dendy Round EPA Each

This inexpensive, compact and lightweight device has become a staple in the field and is similar in function to the periphyton. The most adaptable artificial substrate sampler on the market, it’s EPA recommended in 2 versions. Suspend it, float it or attach it to submerged objects such as boulders or stakes. Leave it in place for 2 or more weeks, then scrape the “critters” off the plates and analyze in the lab. Constructed of 1/8” (3 mm) thick tempered masonite for longer field life, with nylon spacers and SS hardware.
