For schools and ecology clubs, it doesn't get much more cost-effective than this. This well-made stream net has a lightweight aluminum handle, 36" long, just right for students in the field. The net is of white micromesh, with 18" deep cone section and 11-1/2" x 12" long hoop. At a weight of only 408 grams (0.9 lbs), One student will hold the net in a stream, while another student kicks up the streambed upstream. The organisms that are stirred up will flow into the net to be collected. Net has no shroud. Replacement nets are available. This item ships oversize. Oversize fees will be added to your shipping.
