Let your students see the demonstration out in the field! This gigantic compass demontrator is designed to be used in an instructional setting indoors or outdoors. The compass is non-functioning, but allows the teacher to show a large orienteering class the appropriate settings and procedures for their individual compasses. Graduated 0 to 360 degrees (Azimuth) in 2 degree units, it has a movable bezel and a movable needle. It includes inch and cm scales and directional arrows. The Teaching Compass measures 9 inches by 15 inches.
